Program Overview 

 Oral dryness is a chronic, often underreported condition affecting an estimated 22–44% of U.S. adults, with disproportionate impact among older adults, those on multiple medications, and individuals managing systemic health conditions. Despite its prevalence, oral dryness and oral discomfort frequently go unaddressed in the clinical setting because patients adapt, normalize their symptoms, and fail to self-report.

This course introduces clinicians to the science behind oral moisture support and the role that pH-balanced moisturizing oral sprays can play in a layered, patient-centered approach to oral comfort. Participants will explore the spectrum of oral dryness support products and learn practical chairside screening strategies for identifying patients who may benefit from additional comfort support
